The Feather Adjustable Double Edge Razor is similar to the Feather Popular Double Edge Razor. The difference is a unique feature that allows you to switch between a mild and aggressive shave. By switching the lever to '1' the blade has less exposure and gives a more mild shave. If you switch to '2' the blade becomes more exposed and gives a more aggressive shave. The adjustable blade exposure gives a personalized shave so you can determine what's best for your skin and beard type.

This razor works best with Feather Double Edge Blades. The Feather Adjustable Double Edge Razor comes with 2 Feather Double Edge Blades. The razor handle and blades are made in Japan.

Beginner razor: Versatile, easy to use, functional for daily use, close shave on sensitive skin

I needed a milder razor than the one I had (unnamed; purchased elsewhere; noted for its 'beginner' qualities). Upon seeing geofatboy's YouTube video on this product, I can say its performance is terrific. The #1 setting is indeed mild. What does that mean for us beginners? It means daily shaving with no negative effects, e.g., razor burn, nicks, cuts, breakouts the day after, etc., etc. I wanted a daily driver and this fits the bill. The #2 setting is more aggressive, sure, but definitely not too much so. It does a nice job on 2-3 days of growth - after a first pass, I switch to the #1 setting to finish the job. A great buy. Recommend!

Very impressive. Not as smooth as the popular or ASD2 but a much better shave. I’m delighted with it!

Feather adjustable

I decided to try the feather adjustable. The razor is a great entry level razor, however, I found the plastics used on the mount really caused me more razor burn, on either setting. Overall, it’s a well manufactured and nicely presented. Everyone’s different so don’t let this discourage you from purchasing the feather adjustable.

Takes Some Getting Used To

There are two things about this razor that prevented me from giving it 5 stars. One is the weight, it needs more heft. The other is the way you tighten or close the razor. The closer should be on the bottom. I must admit that it does gives a decent shave.
