Mixed emotions

I'm not sold a 100% on this. When it arrived of course you have to smell it, not bad it was pleasant. When i first used this it seemed to lack lather. No matter how hard I tried I just could not get it to really lather up. I thought its new and maybe there is a break in thing. Now after a dozen uses it still doesn't lather. Lack of a better explanation it feels bubbly and as i shave it literally dissolves and disappears so i can only shave 1/2 of my face at a time and have to resoap the other half to finish shaving. BUT when i finish shaving this stuff is amazing. My face feel as if i conditioned it. Very smooth and soft. If you put lotion on your hands after working all day the were very hard and rough, My granddaughter tells me they are scratchy until i put lotion on them she says they are better. Same with this shaving soap I just with it had a thicker longer lasting lather.Not a huge inconvenience but i don't like to re-lather my face twice to shave. I always shave twice in two different directions but with this I'm lathering up at least 5 time to do my normal shave routine.
