This really works

OK, I'm now a believer in the alum block. I read all kinds of reviews and reddit threads and was sort of skeptical of all these people saying how great the alum block is.

So I bought one just to see what all the fuss was about.

It works! And it works really well. Sure it closes up all the little nicks and irritations from over shaving. But the aftereffects are where its really at for me. My face feels amazing after I let the alum sit on my face for about 30 secs and then wash it off. There's no tightness, dryness or irritation.

Then I put on my Proraso white aftershave balm. Then I splash on some Barber Blue or Clubman and I am ready to face the day with a great shave and skin that feels amazing.

If you shave your face, you should absolutely have an alum block!

I would really highly recommend it for anyone who shaves with any kind of razor of any kind

A very good alum block

It’s like a cold ice cube after the shave. But you do have to build a tolerance first. It lets me know how close of a shave is enough, and definitely helps me to keep from going to close.
