 All of our AL13's are the newest model-Version 2. The Aggressive AL13 is available only in Gray. The Mild and Medium AL13's are not made in Gray.

The Henson AL13 3 Piece Razor puts an end to shaving irritation and cuts, while also making your skin feel comfortable and smooth. They created this razor to give you a whole new shaving experience unlike any other. Your skin will feel amazing after using this razor. 

The only difference between the Henson AL13 and the Henson AL13 Medium is the blade gap and blade exposure. These measurements control the "aggressiveness" of the shave. 

For finer hair and shaving areas other than the face, a milder razor is generally desired. Go for  the AL13. For coarser hair, the aggression of the AL13-Medium razor may be more suitable. For even heavier beard growth go for the new Aggressive Version of this razor.

Very safe and easy to use!

I haven't tried any other razors yet but this is my first one I've tried and it's definitely a really good beginner safety razor! Sometimes I'm rushing and have sloppy technique and I still don't get any cuts usually

Why did I wait?

I have been using a Rockwell 6C for a year using #6 plate and had been considering getting a Henson. Finally pulled the trigger and ordered Henson 13 aggressive and have been really impressed. I am getting much closer shaves with less irritation. Service for Shave Nation is top notch. My order shipped the day I ordered

Mild shave. Solid grip.

Love the grip on these. The knurling is just right.
The mild is indeed mild. Haven’t tried it on a week plus growth but so far loving it for the 2-4 day growth. Using the blades that came with. Recommend.

Finally, a great shave

Purchased AL-13 model 2 and got the closest shave ever. Sometimes watching youtube videos pays off.

I like the improvements made since the first model came out. The knurling on the handle is much better and I like the chamfered edges and indentations on the top plates.
