Great Soap with Room for Improvement

It has a pleasant scent and is gentle on the skin. However, I found that the lather is not as thick as I would prefer. Despite this, it still provides a good shave and is an excellent value for the price. If the lather were a bit richer, it would be perfect. Overall, a great product with a minor drawback.

Much improved!

The reformulation is an astounding improvement. I've used Colonel Conk soaps for years because I love the smell of the amber soap...just got one of the new ones...it's like a completely different product! Really, it's a HUGE improvement.

Allergic Reaction

Great scent, great lather, great glide. The soap, unfortunately, was either too heavy, too fragranced, or had a bad combination of ingredients as it caused an allergic reaction on my face. I used it twice just to be sure, but it did cause redness, dryness, and dry peeling skin that lasted the entire day and through the night. My skin’s moisture has yet to recover.
