The only difference between the Henson AL13 and the Henson AL13 Medium is the blade gap and blade exposure. These measurements control the "aggressiveness" of the shave.

For finer hair and shaving areas other than the face, a milder razor is generally desired. Go for the AL13. For coarser hair, the aggression of the AL13-Medium razor may be more suitable. For even heavier beard growth go for the new Aggressive Version of this razor.

Light as a feather, no blade feel at all

My previous razor is a Merkur. With that, I knew I was shaving. By comparison, this feels like I'm passing a plastic toy over my face. It's so light and I don't feel like there's a blade there. And this is the ++ version. But the face comes out smooth.
Oh, and the copper finish looks really good.

Great Shave

Been eyeing it for a while, I have several razors and didn’t really need it just wanted it. Ready many reviews on it and care to the conclusion you either hated it or loved it. I do like a more aggressive razor so I was hesitant to buy it and waste my money not liking it because almost every review talked about how mild it was. I ordered the medium paired it with a feather blade when it came in and shaved with about 3 days of growth and it did great. Provided a great shave and I am very pleased.
