Geos Shavette Straight Razor Set

Kit came in the mail this afternoon, and I wasted no time in shaving with a straight razor - for the first time ever! This is a great kit - has everything you need to get started. After watching a few of Geo's videos, I did really well with the Shavette - great shave. With a little more experience, I look forward to ordering and using a quality straight razor. 12/27/2012

Packaging first, It was packed neatly, all the items came in their respective boxes, or if not their box, a good quality black box with a shave nation sticker (keeping the boxes I like them so much). Everything in the picture was included, as well as a sample of George F. Trumper GFT cream as a bonus, which smells great. Only dilemma is the tube of Proraso would probably last me a year if I shaved every other day (it's pretty big), so I have to switch off the creams. The Proraso is great, you need very little to shave, and has a very slight cooling effect, so the menthol isn't overpowering. The Shavette is really nice for what it costs, and the blades are a breeze to load. Having the arm made of stainless really helps with keeping the razor under control. The Shark blades are sharp, and had no issue with taking off my beard, or forearm hair. My favourite thing though has got to be the brush, It's so soft on the skin, yet can really get into your whiskers, has a nice weight as well. great fit and finish on the brush, and the razor, as well as the stand. I really like the stand, heavy, sturdy, and the brush and razor looks awesome on it (Black against Stainless). I couldn't find a more complete starter kit for the price. If you're thinking about getting this (which, I assume is why you're on this webpage), Just order it, you will not be disappointed. I will recommended this to all my friends, and will be buying from Geo again. 03/10/2012
