DISCONTINUED Taylor of Old Bond Street Shave Soap in Jar Traditional

This is a very nice shaving soap with a great fragrance and lathers wonderfully. I like the small size which is easy for traveling and refills of this Traditional fragrance are available.

The only criticism is that TOBS doesn’t seem to make other fragrance soaps in this same size – with or without the container.

Description of the product indicates it has a nice lingering scent. There is no scent to this soap whatsoever. Re-lathering for a second pass, the soap was super thin and absorbed into my face quickly. I had to start over with a new bowl of lather. I love many of the TOBS scents. This one is just not up to par for TOBS.

I have several TOBS products and my youngest son also has several different TOBS shaving creams. The description on this product says it has a very nice lingering scent. There is no scent to this soap. The soap did lather up really well on the first pass. I had great peaks, good coverage of the face and great thickness. On the second pass, the soap was super thin and soaked into my skin rather quickly. I had to discard and start from scratch for additional passes. Definitely not what I would expect from TOBS.
