It’s ok

I’m not giving it a 5/5 because it’s not aggressive enough and my beard was thick enough to where it didn’t cut it like butter. It’s ok.

A slanted blade for an aggressive shave

This is great for taking off the whiskers and beard stubble in one pass. But it is a little too much of an aggressive shave. I suggest you don’t try this first, unless you’re really careful with your shaving routine. Also make sure you use a witch hazel or soothing aloe Vera afterwards and COLD WATER RINSE.

First Impressions

I've been shaving DE for a couple of months now, starting on the 34C (reliably excellent), and then the Henson Mild (loved it at first, but not sure if I'll keep it in the rotation). This does in two passes what takes the Henson four. Really effective, and super smooth if you use a nice light touch. I wanted to try a slant bar and knew it would be more aggressive going in, so instead of my usual Feather I loaded a Dorco for the first shave. No pulling whatsoever, and it even handled my sensitive neck surprisingly gently. I'm attending a wedding tomorrow, and haven't shaved all week just so I can use this in the morning, lol. Also, shoutout to Geo for all the technique lessons on Youtube - thank you for the passion and the pride you take in your work!

Gamechanger (for me).

Once I figured out that the blade wasn't supposed to be perfectly straight, I started getting excellent shaves. I have a very coarse beard, and fairly sensitive skin. This is the first razor I've used that actually cuts the hair in my chin area. The handle is a little small, but I give it 5/5 for the quality of shave. This is now my daily shaver.
