Unlike most shavettes, the Parker SRX razor has a heavyweight stainless steel blade arm in addition to a stainless steel handle - not lower quality aluminum.

Parker SRX

never used a straight razor of any kind before. big learning curve for me but not as hard as i thought. have nothing to compare it to but it works well, and i am guessing it will work even better as i get better technique. It seems like a good way to learn straight razor technique for cheap. it did come stuck and wouldnt fold open. I had to push it out with a punch and a hammer. when you close it dont push it together with too much force or it will get stuck.
