The best blades I've tried

I've just received my second package of 100 Feather blades. They are the best blades, in my opinion. In fairness, I also rather like Astra blades and they run less than half the price of Feather. Is Feather worth the premium price? I think so. I want nice, close, easy shaves and Feather can deliver. My routine close shave is two passes with an R89 Jagger razor and a third, against-the-grain pass using a Mühle R41. A light, delicate touch is essential on that third pass and you've got to know when to quit. Premium shaving cream is equally important: TOBS, Geo Trumper, and Castle Forbes brands all work well. Don't try that with Foamy or Barbasol, although they have their place with a mild razor (R-34) when time is tight and an okey-dokey shave is good enough, like for the gym. Wet shaving can be a fun hobby. For me, Feather blades are an essential part of it.

Solid blade soft face = good shave

The theory of soft face and solid blade makes sense. Best shave I’ve ever had

Amazing!

The sharpest and in my opinion the best blades out there.
I load my Leaf Razor (pivoting head) with two half's of a feather blade and use Stirling soap and it gives me a really close and comfortable shave on the head and work great on the face in a Mühle Rocca razor also with Stirling soap. Tallow based soaps are the best in my opinion.
