LEA Classic Shaving Soap in Elegant Wooden Bowl

This is a nice soap! The bowl and presentation are great. It looks cool and old school on your bathroom counter. Performance is very solid and quite good for a hard puck. It lathers easily and provides solid cushion. Slickness is pretty good but not great. It definitely gets the job done. The scent is subtle and not overpowering at all. Overall, this is a classic style shave soap. It protects well while shaving and doesn’t make any super promises of skin conditioning miracles. It just works and is a legit shave soap meant for shaving. The skin conditioning is solid though none the less. My face feels moisturized and smooth afterwards with little dryness. I pair it with the matching aftershave lotion and aftershave balm for a perfect shave. After using the soap, splash, and balm, your face will feel great. I will be buying refills once I’m out. A nice Spanish product.

Got back into DE shaving and brush and soap shaving about 18 months ago. Miller's Wool Fat (MWF) is the well-deserved gold standard as far as quality of soap and lather along with ease of use. A few months back I purchased LEA soap, honestly, for the cool container. With the first use I was pleasantly surprised by the ease of lathering, quality of the lather and slickness. This quickly my go to soap in the morning. Now I rotate it with MWF, and Capt. Conk Bay rum, but always look forward to the LEA days.
