Bison USA Brown English Bridle Strop

Handcrafted in the USA with the highest quality English Bridle leather from Hermann Oak Leather Tannery. This strop is modular since it is assembled with solid brass Chicago screws that allow for easy disassembly to replace worn leather or canvas pieces. Strop length is 28 inches while the leather stropping area measures 3 inches by 18 inches and is matched with 100% cotton-linen canvas strop for removing moisture post shave.

High quality leather

I purchased this brown Bison Ezra Arthur stop and then the burgundy one the following week. I have to say I much prefer this one for stropping my straights during the week because of how smooth the leather is. Not to say I don’t enjoy the burgundy, however I use that one after my honing sessions or if I want to switch it up on random days. If your are looking for a high quality leather and a great strop that smooth and can help keep your edge sharp look no further.

Quality

I have not used this strop yet. I'm new to straight razors. Luckily I have a buddy that is very experienced, and he's going to get me started with stropping technique. I will say that this Bison Strop is well constructed using quality materials. The cotton/linen side reminds you of firehose. Even the hardware is sturdy. Nothing flimsy about this strop at all. I'm well satisfied.
