Solid value performer!

Was initially attracted to trying Lider as it’s a Polish product, saw decent reviews online, and the price is decent. One can see from the package design it’s rather 70’s/80’s mass-market contemporary. Doesn’t seem the maker is trying to be upmarket cool or retro hipster. That’s a good thing. Unaware of its market status in Poland, my guess was this would be a solid unpretentious product much the way Tabac and Arko are great product and content with their packaging. It is. Lider gets a B+. Good to great for the price but not amazing. Fragrance is classic drugstore aftershave - synthetically citrus and woodsy & a tad reminiscent of Skin Bracer. That is not a criticism. I enjoy the fragrance of this cream very much. Color is an attractive Kermit or grasshopper green. A pea to almond sized squirt whips up a quality and cushiony lather. It is fine, but not exceptional. Works well either bowl or face and with brushes that do well with creams. I tend to like a synth for my tubed creams, but that is preference. Performance wise, I believe this has a slight advantage over other tubed creams that are mass-market. Examples would be the tubed Palmolive and Old Spice. I like Lider more than these and keeping it in my rotation 1-2x a week and as a travel cream. Thanks again to Shave Nation for stocking a good variety of product.
