NOTE: Due to pressure from European customers to reduce plastic use for environmental considerations, Taylor initially decided not to include the plastic seal in shave cream tubs. However, after thousands of requests they reinstated it. This means that for a while some batches will have the lid seal and some will not.

As for the cream's consistency, it varies between scents and batches.

Taylor of Old Bond Street Shaving Creams 150g jars use a hot pour method, are sold by weight, and the jars may or may not have a plastic seal. It is quite normal for the contents to vary in consistency from batch to batch. They may be more solid, shift, lean to one side, or have irregular cavities when you open them. Don’t be alarmed, TOBS ensures this is completely normal. This should not be considered a flaw and does not affect the performance of the cream. "Lather up and Get Your Shave On!"

It's the best

TOBS shaving creams are first rate. Great performance. Some of the scents don't always smell like what I expect. For example, the coconut smells great but I don't get a real coconut smell. The almond cream smells like marzipan. I love Cella and its fragrance and TOBS Almond captures that scent but it's mild and won't clash with any aftershave. A little goes a long way! This tub should last at least six months. Probably longer. Also, Geo and ShaveNation are great. The service, the shipping, the freshness of the products. Five big stars.

I wish this stuff was edible

Thick, very high quality lather. Smells a little like Amaretto, which is nice.

Excellent Shave Cream!!

All the TOBS products have proven to be of high quality, and provide a smooth close shave. Of the three I have used, I prefer the fragrance of the Almond Cream the best!
