Boy was i upset. I broke my ceramic lather bowl. It ruined my day. After I calmed down I ordered a new unbreakable bowl. I like it better then the old one. Over all its a little smaller then the old and It fits better in the hand. The base is a little smaller making for a better grip. Plus with fast shipping i was happy again.
First off, I love Shave Nation. This artisan shave bowl misses the mark. It’s very difficult to build a good lather without losing it over the sides of the bowl. The inside of this bowl is small and not very deep which causes lather to continuously flow over the sides. I regret buying

This bowl chipped the porcelain in my sink, but I did not break the bowl. I usually warm the bowl in hot water, drain it, and add the product, then lather, Lather, LATHER. The bowl was hot when I pushed it into my sink, about a 24-inch drop. I do not know what I did before without this bowl and Scrape Spoon. Excellent products that you can pass down or place in a time capsule for someone to use down the road after you die... You can't break this bowl, and it will stand the test of time.
Nice size shaving bowl, with good weight, solid construction, and fantastic green color. I pair it with a Simpson's T2 synthetic brush, and it works perfectly to where there is no handle banging or hitting the sides of the bowl. The raised relief features added to the inside provide excellent texture when using a small spoonful of hard shaving soap. Another excellent item available from Shave Nation.
