The blade angle can be adjusted by turning the knob on the bottom of the razor, so that the exposure can be set to each individual's preference. This beautifully designed black and satin chrome plated all brass frame is a heavyweight, smooth shaver. Adjustable Settings: Turn the dial at the bottom of the handle to adjust the blade reveal. The settings go from 1 to 5 with 1 being the mildest, and 5 the most aggressive. Customizable settings accommodate differences in facial hair thickness, skin type, preference and experience level.

I should have gotten this sooner

This is a really great razor. Unique adjustable system, it is very easy to use. And she's a beauty in the anniversary black/gold edition. I have seen this razor from time to time and didn't think I would like it, but it gives me a great shave and I've been happy ever since the purchase. Parker is great in general, and the blades pair well the razor. Do not skip out on this!

To start with the razor is pretty and has a great finish. I got the anniversary model for the black and gold colours. The angle on of the razor is a bit different than other razors but is similar to the r41 imo. The only difference is that it has more blade feel so to me it makes the razor more aggressive. So as far as the feel of shave I am a bit disappointed the first few times I have used it but doesn't mean I wont get use to it and it be better later if that makes sense. As far as the finish blade alignment and weight it is very good for the price. Would say for around the same money the merkur progress is a better razor to me right now. We will see as the shaves go on :)
