A Real Step Up!

I bought this Duke D2 brush from this site last year and its taken me a while to revisit and review. Coming from a bog standard Colonel Conk brush (which was my first and about ten years old) to the Simpson Duke D2 was a bit of getting used to. One thing out the window was face lathering, so bought a bowl and got used to using it. I went back to the Colonel Conk to try again after 6 months and really these brushes are not in the same league. The Conk felt cheap and insubstantial which as the brush is ten years old could be an attributing factor not to disparage Colonel Conk products.
I am firmly in the Simpson camp now and thoroughly recommend this brush Duke D2!
