REX Ambassador Razor Stand: 5 stars!

I'm giving 5 stars to the REX Ambassador Razor Stand that I just bought in August 2025. I bought the REX Ambassador razor from Shave Nation back in October 2019. I have 10 or 15 safety razors, but I always come back to the Ambassador. It has become my go-to razor. Its size reminds me of the Gillette Fatboy that I used to have, and I like its adjustability.

I have often thought about buying the razor stand. Even though it is a bit pricey at $100, I think that it is well worth it for several reasons. First, it brings a smile to my face when I go into my "shave den" and see it resting there, ready to greet me. Second, I like its construction: It's a heavy stand, and I have no fear that the razor will tip over or fall off. Third, I like the fact that it has a post for the razor to fit into. I was always concerned about the "inkwell type" razor stands that can collect water and perhaps not let the razor dry out. And fourth, August is my birthday month, and I bought this as a birthday present to myself!

The customer service and shipping from Shave Nation can't be beat. I ordered the REX Razor Stand on a Sunday afternoon, and I received an email on Monday morning that it was packed and shipped! Can't ask for anything better than that.

Here's another reason why I like Shave Nation: There are some websites where I go to look at things, and within an hour or two, I'll get a message asking, "Did you see anything that you liked?' or "You better grab that thing that you were looking at while it's still available." That is really creepy. Kind of like "Big Brother" is watching me.

I have enough shaving supplies now to last me for a few years, meaning that I won't be making any purchases for a while, but when the time comes that I need something, I'll definitely get it from Shave Nation.

Picked this up to compliment my Rex Ambassador. Beautifully machined and weighty stainless steel stand. A very nice accoutrement to add to your shave den, and a convenient accessory for display and care of your razor.
