Parker Short Handle Butterfly Safety Razor 87R

it’s a little too aggressive for me. i’ve tried a couple of different razors and it seems that i keep returning to my Mercur 34c. but i do like the ease of operating the butterfly.

Nostalgic. Reminds me of watching my Dad shave when I was young. This razor has the bulk which prevents me from having to apply pressure. Great cutting feedback from this razor.

Whatever razor used to be my fav has been replaced. If I had to grab only one razor, this would be the one. I like the feedback and being able to feel the blade. I got no nicks or razor burn with this razor and a Shark Chrome blade. Very pretty to look at too. I like the pattern on the handle. Nice and hefty so the razor does all the work. I seem to like the shorter handle too. From reading about this razor & reviews, many say it resembles an old Gillette Ambassador. I have used this razor the last 2 days for shaving. I have 10 other razors that I rotate use. If I want no fuss enjoyable shave, I will reach for this one every time. Geo, you pick really good products to market!

I have found my go-to razor! Mildly aggressive and a beauty to look at. Coupled with a Shark blade, this razor gives me a close, no cuts, no razor burn shave. When I want to experiment, I can shave with other razors in my arsenal but, now I have 2 razors that I can put the best blade in and go! I also found that the Feather blades work excellent in my Muhle R89. It's always nice to find a winning combo. You can't lose with this razor, in my humble opinion.Nice weight, well built, at a great price!
