Very Smooth Beginner Friendly Razor

This razor is very smooth to use. The razor positions the blade so that it is not aggressive at all. You will need to make multiple passes to make a silky smooth finish to your shave but the plus is that there will likely be no irritation, nicks or cuts. I've used an Edwin Jagger for many years and wanted to try something from Merkur. The 38c is better for beginners and is less aggressive that the Edwin Jagger. Both are good razors, but the Merkur would definitely be easier for someone new to wet shaving. In the future I may pick up an adjustable Merkur to allow for a more personal, fine-tuned shave.

Love the 38C. I am using all kinds of blades and get a great result most times. Easy to manage, clean. Not hard getting under the nose. Definitely recommend it.

So far so good. I am a fan or the tighten from the base design. Eliminates the head loosening and exposing to much blade inadvertently. Close shave every time.

After many uses, I love this razor! I would buy again, but the quality is such that I will likely never need to.

Got those just to try a milder razor that's highly recommended. Not disappointed. Excellent shaves with it. Love the longer barber pole handle and weight. Shipping and delivery was very fast. Highly recommend Shave Nation
