This razor has a 6/8 Full Hollow Ground Carbon Steel Blade with an oxidized finish to give it that popular "Blacked-Out" look. The handles are black ebony. The blade features the silver colored inlay reading "Bismarck" Best German Hollow Ground and "Bismarck" Solingen on the handle.

well balanced weight & good shave

I would not agree that the razor is shave ready from the factory. I tested this and found the initial shave to be poor quality, but after a quick touch up and honing it has been consistently resulting in a close smooth shave. It is weighted and balanced well with the carbon steel being easy to sharpen and hone.

Cool as hell!

I knew the first time i saw this razor, i had to have it. Black blade+Black ebony handles+ Dovo quality=Cool as hell! Plus it completes my set. Black stands, black DE, black brush and bowl. And black towels. I'm glad i
spent the extra money. Ordered on thurs. got it on sat. Did the sharp to shave ready per Geo's vid of the same name. Shave like a dream. And as always glad to keep mny in the state.
