These are the original German Wilkinson Blades, introduced to the United States in the late 1950s, Wilkinson Swords original stainless steel double edge blade became an immediate success because of its fine edge.

This blade retains the original precision honed Wilkinson Sword edge, but has been improved by Wilkinsons famous triple coating process of chromium to resist corrosion, ceramic for added durability and PTFE for less irritation.
The result is a blade that maintains its edge even longer than stainless steel.
This time-tested blade provides incredibly smooth, close and comfortable double edge shaves.

blade shaving great.

I have only recently returned to blade shaving. I had used Wilkinson blades in the past and decided to begin with a blade which had served so well in the past. I am not disappointed! Shipping from Shave Nation was great!

So far these blades have exceeded my expectations. Sharp yet mild shave.

Late discovery of a classic.

I remember the Wilkinson Sword TV ads as a teen. With advances over half a century even if I’m indulging in a retro way of shaving, how could these blades be any good in 2023 Well, they are.

They are more substantial than my thinner Gillette Nacet and Parker blades. Perhaps that’s the key to their gentle efficiency when coupled with my Edwin Jagger 3One6. I am very pleased with their performance. I’ve made two bulk puirchases.
