"The Favorite" Long Handle 23C Beginners Safety Razor Set

-This is a great starter kit for anyone that wants to shave like it's 1922. The razor handle has a great weight and the long handle helps with maintaining the contour of my head. My wife appreciates the handle for her legs, as well. We've only used the Merkur blade that came with the razor, which started life providing the smoothest shave I've ever experienced. After a month of use, it shaves like a cat's claw. We'll try the other brands of blades and select the best for our skin and use.
-The shaving cream smells great (like a real man) and helps provide a smooth finish.
-Having never used an alum block, sliding the chunk of minerals across my freshly shaven head provided a familiar feeling of aftershave, but with a (seemingly) 10x lifespan.
-This kit has shown me how enjoyable shaving can be. To shave my head, neck, and cheeks (keeping a mild beard) takes about 30-45 minutes. It is the most enjoyable 30-45 minutes of my week - I shave on Friday evening and by Tuesday I want to have the cathartic experience of shaving again.
-I will purchase this kit as a gift for other bald men. I will purchase this kit as a gift for women who shave their legs. I will purchase this kit as a gift for people that SHOULD shave more often than they do. I will recommend Shave Nation to friends. Every aspect of this purchase has been incredibly pleasant.
-Now we find my wife a shaver handle better suited for her shaving style. I'm thinking Henson AL13, but we'll see.

I sent this to my father in law as a holiday gift - he absolutely loved it and it has used it multiple times! I also sent links to Shave Nations awesome videos, which he used to successfully prep. The set has all the items for a beginner to start safety shaving. Five Stars!

I used cheap auto shavers and the 5 blade throw aways at times let the beard grow just dreaded doing it found Mr. Geofatboy on youtube watched a bunch of videos and found the site bought the starter kit cant wait for the next shave and espcially saving money vs the cartride disposable razers thank you
