BAUME.BE Shaving Soap Puck Refill

BAUME.BE is an excellent shaving soap for those with sensitive skin or dermatological concerns, but it’s also a great soap for other reasons. This soap is packed full with extra glycerin which makes it one of the slickest soaps for those who love glide.

It does not produce a long lasting lather (but sufficient) but it remains super slick because of its super high glycerin content. This can be a good thing especially for straight razor shavers like me. Glycerin is not known for its thick lathering capability but rather for its remarkable and inherent humectant quality to protect and preserve the skins natural moisturizing oils and to aid non-saponified fatty acids of a good nourishing soap and protect against harshness. BAUME.BE has a very gentle and natural herbal and sweet cream fragrance that is endearing in use.

This finely crafted soap is the opposite of a bold ARKO style soaps and has zero harshness or detergency-like feel to the skin. This soap is in my weekly use and is uniquely useful in my opinion.

Nice scent and good lather.

Like the scent. It is slick but not too slick. Makes good lather.

Don't like this fragrance. I broke this puck up and put it into my shaving dish before placing in the microwave. Geo says that we should contact the manufacturer to see if it is microwavable. I didn't do that. It didn't melt, it just smoked. Try for yourself but don't microwave it. Like I wrote, might be my fault. HAGS, HAGD!
