Lathering Instructions:

1️⃣ Press Fit Shave Bar – Firmly press your shave bar into the bowl’s recessed base. It stays put until you’re ready to swap.

2️⃣ Add Water – Use the cavity on the base of the brush to add two measures of water into the bowl.

3️⃣ Whip Up Lather – Swirl your brush swiftly and firmly in the bowl for about 90 seconds to build a thick, creamy lather.

4️⃣ Apply & Shave – Spread the lather evenly on your skin—pressing and swirling with your brush. Enjoy a smoother, more comfortable shave.

Perfect size and works great to whip up a lather!

This offering from Leaf is really high quality; nice grip on the bowl and brush handle, perfect size for me anyways, not too heavy but not cheap and lightweight, the brush is 22mm I believe with a soft knot but backbone is firm enough to get a good lather going even on some firmer soaps. The grooves inside the bowl are perfect for helping make a quick fast lather. I did try using the handle to add water to the bowl and it does work. I would highly recommend this setup for anyone new to wet shaving (for ease of success) and for veteran shavers alike.

This this works exactly like Geo said it would. Really takes the guesswork out of using the right amount of water every time. Love the scent of fig also, wish LEAF made a matching aftershave in the same scent.
