Nice soap

I would give it five stars, but I'm still new to brush-shaving and I'm sure there are better soaps out there. Nevertheless, it has a very pleasant scent, and produces a nice, thick and slick lather. Great soap! Also very happy with Shave Nation's service - shipped quickly and received a day earlier than expected!

Hard to lather

It was difficult to lather. It was not as slick as I'd like. It did however provide a bbs shave and left skin well moisturized.

bought this shave soap because of it’s price,not thinking that it might irritate my skin [I have rosacea] NO IRRATATION @ all. slick smooth shave ,no nicks ,cuts or irratation! will buy again.

Overlooked But Worth Your Time!

I have used Erasmic soap off and on for maybe 7-8 years but I've never seen a review of it. But it's worth some good words! For a British soap it is rather inexpensive. However, it brushes up into a rich, creamy lather that yields a close and smooth shave. Its aroma is old-time barber shop and somewhat citrusy -- pleasant and not overly strong. I recommend giving it a try.
