Too small to hone straights

Good stone so far. Itis on the small side for straight razors. I will purchase a larger stone soon in the 12,000 grit range. I think that will bring a better hone to the razor

Awesome stone

Its a little bit of a smaller stone but doesnt take long to get the right technique to put a very fine edge on a razor. It works extremely well for the price, if your hesitant to buy an expensive stone I would highly recommend trying one of these first you wont be disappointed.

Arkansas Stone Paddle Hone 8-10k

I bought this to compliment a barber hone that I am presently using.
I estimate the barber hone to be about 6-8k so this makes a nice progression. I have bought quite a lot from Shave Nation and have never been disappointed. I learned a lot from Shave Nation videos too !
