The cut and polished shells of the pearl oysters were once a common currency and have been used in the production of jewelry for a long time. The handles of the Boker Mother of Pearl are made of Mother of Pearl imitation and are very robust in contrast to the natural material. The shimmering handle harmonizes beautifully with the partial gilding of the blade's back and scabbard.

The extra hollow and ridge ground blade in the size 6/8 inch is made of the classic Carbon Steel O1. With authentic Boker stamp in the blade bore, certificate of authenticity and historical packaging. Handmade in the Boker knife manufactory Solingen, Germany.

Nice addition to my collection

This is an excellent addition to my straight razor collection. Besides my round point razors, I have two Spanish points and I wanted a square point razor and also a pearl looking handle. This razor fit the bill. In addition it is a 6/8 inch blade which makes it look more impressive. A beautiful razor. One reviewer stated that it cut hair right out of the box. Thinking this was a unique razor that came shave ready, I tried it right out of the box. I immediately could tell from the sound it was not cutting properly. The next day and after a visit with my strop, I tried the razor again and it gave me an excellent shave.

What a beauty

Wife knows I love shopping at Shave Nation so for Father’s Day I received this great piece of manliness. Let me tell you man, the shave amazing. I have two dovo straights but this has already become my favorite. The weight of the 6/8 is simply so comfortable and easy to use. Highly recommend you get yourself one when they are back in stock.
