My Frankenrazor is now complete

Built a Frankenrazor using the chubby handle and the head unit from my everyday razor. The combination is now my new everyday razor.

Excellent razor to replace my Holy Black SR71

I had recently to throw away my Holy Black SR71 slant by a custom agent... :( Anyway, I wasn't happy with the paint coming off, so I knew Shavenation offers that chubby handle razor. Quick shipping, received it in less than a week (here in Canada). So the razor is very well made (I chose Satin finish), heavy and big in hand, excellent for larger hands and those who prefer hefty razor. It's fairly mild, I've tried Feather blades, but I still prefer my Astra Platinum (cheaper and nicer on skin).
I really like the longer screwing thread as it allows me to unscrew it for drying. Usually others are shorter and it can fall off.
Everything is square, the blade is even on both sides. There's a groove for the handle, which I think helps.
The laser etching is nice, could be more pronounced but seems ok not to fade quickly. The knurling is really nice to touche, handling it easy (no fear of droping)
I would prefer a slant head, maybe Shavenation would offer it in the future...
List Price is fair too, but I would have prefered USPS as Shavenation charges for shipping, then UPS add their brokerage fees, for a 2 USD import charges...

Weight and Grip, excellent.

Purchased this razor a week ago, as a graduate of the Wilkinson Sword basic razor. My first impression was "wow this handle feels excellent", the weight of the razor itself also seems to really play into how easy each pass can be. Ive been using this razor with Wilkinson Sword blades and Astra Superior. Just like Geo mentions in his video of this razor, it seems almost impossible to cut yourself with this model. My only concern is sometimes when installing a blade, the blade reveal does not always look equal on both sides, considering I shave by feel, it has not been an issue and I still look forward to using this razor each morning! Chubby razor makes for an excellent shave.
