Parker Travel Safety Razor

I received my Parker Travel razor today. I tried it about 5 minutes a go. I used a Personna Blue blade.
I believe the safety bar is designed to be reversible and give a mile or more aggressive shave depending on how it's installed. With the teeth up the shave is more aggressive. With them down it's mild but still works well. I have had very good shaves with the Personna blue blades in the past in 5 different razors so I believe this review is safe to focus only on the Parker razor. Overall I rate this razor very good. Inexpensive and of higher quality then you might expect for the price ($30 as of today) The shave was excellent. I am a former US Marine and also have been a hunting guide and outdoor skills instructor for several decade's and I like to stay shaven in the field especially when I have gone out for weeks or even months at a time. This razor fits into a small space and does an excellent job and one thing that might be important to some is the ability to use the mild side and shave only by feel with no mirror knowing that the shave will eb good and the danger of cuts and bad nicks near zero . For travel with all the amenities you are OK to take about any razor, but when going on tripos where you like will have more minimal equipment with you, this little razor and a shave stick is great. So good you'd feel fine if it were your only razor, but for it's intended task, I believe this one is a solid 10. I recommend it highly.

I got this razor for travel because I absolutely hate the multi blade junk I have had in my Dopp kit for too long now. (I use a safety razor at home) The nice leather case says Parker but the razor itself is unbranded, which I found interesting in a negative way as it doesn't exude the Parker quality I was expecting. That said, the razor assembles well and once a blade was inserted works perfectly fine. I agree with the razor being a medium to slightly aggressive. I really like how the razor breaks down to such a small package.

This is a great travel razor. It compacts nicely into the solid leather case, and takes almost space in my dopp bag, yet it provides a nice full sized feel and weight when assembled. It gives a great shave that I would rate as a medium to slightly aggressive shave.

I tried it out when I first got it before I went on any trips, I was so pleased with it I used it for almost 2 weeks straight. The only downside to this set is that you can't store a pack of blades in the leather case with the razor, but you can fit 2 or 3 single razors in there.

This thing is perdect, I'm in the Army and as such travel a lot. This razor is tough as ****, packs up smaller than any other razor you will ever find and shaves so well it replaced my stay home razor.
