I'm glad I watched Geofatboy's video on this awesome metal bumpy shaving bowl. You may bust a sink if you drop it, but nothing is going to hurt this shaving bowl. It also easily lathers up, using soap, crop, or creams. My Adult son and I were both grateful for the free shipping, and he noted Amazon could take lessons from Shave Nation, on the proper safe packing of products, sent through the US mail! These two bowls were my first purchase, but not my last, Ill be a returning customer for sure!
I really like it's shape and ergonomics, I'm in better control with my lather making using this bowl, I think a lot of thought went into the making of this lather bowl.
Package came early which is great. The bowl material is metal and definitely indestructible, but not corrosion resistant. There rust underneath the base of the bowl and there is paint that is chipped or worn off around its edge and some inside the bowl. I haven't even used it yet. Please see pics below. These indestructible bowls are wonderful shave bowls. The make great lather and if you slip and drop it… no issues with breakage!
Best bowl for durability, lathering and ease of use. I use hot water to warm the bowl and soak my brush. The puck recess is a good 2cc measure for your water while making your lather The bowl retains some warmth while I lather breaking that cycle of warm face and then cold lather. Sits with pride on my sink. Well done.
