Muhle Safety Razor Replacement Head for R41 or R89

It’s the first of April and I’d be a fool to NOT leave a review of my Shave tools from the ShaveNation.
Yes, I said I’d be a fool, but the fool is on you if you be getting your shave tools any where other than at the ShaveNation. Indeed, my last order included the Muhle R89 replacement head that I swap with my R41 Grande. The R41 clears my 3+ day beard when I foolishly skip a few days, then I use the R89 for my M-F daily routine after I come to my BBS* senses. I wouldn’t have thought of the razor head swap if Geo hadn’t shared his coaching video. Yes, I said “coaching” cuz Geofatboy keeps my shave den in order and drills me with techniques on how to play the “shave game”. I’m not quite an Allstar but coach Geo says I show promise. My last order also included TOBS Sandalwood shave soap (which is my second favorite to my Proraso Sandalwood cream (tube) plus the Spanish Leather Skin Food from GFTrumper. My Sweetie loves the BBS with the Spanish Leather finish. I’d go so far to say your Sweetie will share in the ShaveNation love when you stock up your own den. You’d be a fool not to. And I know Coach Geo agrees with that!

I already have the Muhle R41 razor so it made sense to buy the R89 razor head for the days I want a less aggressive shave. It fits perfectly on the same handle and gives an excellent shave too.

Goes well with my viper handle a good combo provides a clean shave.

Just got around to trying Muhle razors. They are outstanding. The R89 gives a mild close shave and is a pleasure to use. I alos got the R41. Closest shave I ever got from a DE razor. Just take your time and use a milder blade, do the prep and you'll be good.
