Fromm 1907 Leather Strop Dressing

This is an excellent product. I had a strop that I hadn't used for a couple of years and decided to purchase this product to help restore it. A little bit of this strop dressing definitely goes a long way. For some reason, I put four drops on the strop and had a ton left over. The dressing brought out the suppleness I was looking for. However, one area of the strop needs a little more work because the leather has dried out. I'm sure a little more of this dressing will correct that quickly. I highly recommend that anyone looking for a good strop dressing try this out.
Additionally, the speed and quality of service from Shave Nation is above reproach. I highly recommend purchasing your wet shaving supplies from them. They are the best!!

I used my razor strop for over 30 years not knowing about dressing. After applying the dressing I get a much better edge on my razor. It would have nice if the shop that sold that strop to me would have let me know about this dressing.

Product seems to work well although I’ve only used it one time so far

Along side my breaking down and purchasing a Shave Nation 3” Latigo strop, ( I had been using a homemade one I made from material from Tandy Leather, which I was quite proud of), I also purchased a DOVO 6/8” Flowing Blade straight razor w/ebony handles. Rather than shaving with it straight out of the box, I probably could have, I followed Geo’s video instructions and honed about 14 full passes on a Nano 12000 stone then stropped with the new Shave Nation strop per vid and proceeded to an extremely slick shave. Must say I have found my niche with the 6/8 blade, the weight and heft is all that is needed for a close 2 pass shave (for me), no extra pressure on my part needed. BTW Geo, I am well into approximately 100 plus shaves since starting straight razor shaving in January 2022, an email video of me shaving with your razors coming soon,…still working on the stage fright. Thanks for your service, info, speedy and secure shipping, who would have ever thought one could do so well doing something they love, besides something you have to do anyway…shaving!!
