The FEATHER Scotch Wood Artist Club SS Folding Razor is the ultimate replaceable blade shaving razor made with the strictest pursuit of perfection in razor shaving. The head is made of SUS317 stainless steel which enables smooth shaving and resists heat, chemicals and other impurities. Features a Beautiful Traditional Wood Handle providing excellent grip and control.

The rounded shaving head and optimal blade exposure provides a soft and smooth shaving experience. The purpose of the rounded tip of the SS razor is to gently push down the skin and disperse pressure at the blade tip, making the shave less damaging.

Great piece of shaving kit!

Purchased this razor along with the Feather Pro Guard blades. Watched Geofatboy’s video on how to use it. After only 4-5 shaves I’m getting comfortable with it! Lots of fun to use and delivers a fantastic shave!

Great replacement to Straight Razor

After 2 years of shaving with a 5/8" Dovo and a Thiers-Issard I got tired of stropping and sending them away to be honed so I decided to try a shavette straight razor and this was the most highly recommended. I have had it for 3 weeks and I absolutely love it. You have to start slow and the technique is slightly different (definitely nicked my chin a few times) but overall I am so happy to have a super sharp edge for my morning shave. I started with PROFESSIONAL blades but they were a bit intense for me so I bought the LIGHT blades and am very happy. Shaves just like my 5/8" Dovo when it was first back from honer.

First Straight Razor

This is a learning experience for sure, I have been using this for both my face and my head only minor cuts and nicks so far. the product paired with the Pro-Guard 15 blades definitely gets the job done quickly and with very little pressure. It will take more time to become proficient with this form of shaving but this product is a great place to start and learn.

Nice Addition to Arsenal

I would recommend this razor to both newbies and seasoned straight razor shavers. For the newbie, this shavette is a good intro to SR shaving without having to spend a ton of extra money learning to hone, strop, and care for a straight. Simply pop in a blade and you're ready to go. While not exactly the same as SR shaving, it will give a good approximation as the weight and feel of this razor is more akin to SR shaving than say flimsier, lighter alternatives like the Dovo Shavette. For the regular SR shaver, this is just a nice alternative to have in the quiver. Say you're behind on honing your straights, or maybe a little pressed for time, or traveling, but still want a great shave, this thing delivers and is the closest feeling to a SR you're likely to get from a shavette. Anyway, I prefer straight razors, but I'm happy with this purchase. It has great weight and feel for a shavette, and it's a cinch to dismantle and clean, and the blades are reasonably priced and easy to load/remove.
