Chatsworth

Very smooth shave. The weight sits nicely in the hand. I would say the handle has decent grip when it’s wet. It is faux horn after all. So, some slipping is expected in my mind. I have big hands, which makes the longer handle comfortable. The razor overall is a great piece and I would certainly buy it again if given the option.

LHCSR Chatsworth DE Razor - Light Horn & Chrome

Having returned to DE razors a year or so ago, I decided it was time for a "nice" razor. After my usual ad nauseam research, I opted for the Edwin Jagger Chatsworth. It's a decision I do not regret. The brass construction was a key factor in my choice, as was the description on Shave Nation of it being "one of the finest DE safety razors available". I couldn't agree more. The fit and finish are superb. The balance is quite good, and every shaving experience with this razor has been a positive one. Granted its on the upper end of the price scale for many razors, but my first examination of this razor's quality made the reason abundantly clear. 06/06/2014
