This is a solid metal razor handle that has that "Heavy in the Hand Feel" with a NEW enhanced grip design with ridges on the handle. Both beautiful and economical, this combination delivers an extremely smooth and close shave. This razor accepts any standard blade cartridge that is Sensor compatible.

The cost of refills for this razor is much less than the 4 or 5 blade razor cartridges, yet we believe the shave is smoother due to less pull from the increased razor weight. *One Sensor Compatible Razor Cartridge included.*

miss my Sensor2
gilette Sensor 2 replacement

Gillette Sensor 2 is the best razor i ever used, but obv discontinued. I've been milking my old one for a long time and it's falling apart. And the blades are expensive, i always thought. So i looked around for options - not one of these stupid modern razors with 5 blades and multiple strips of lube and lifters and stupid marketing-related 'improvements'. We all know we were already getting a good shave; they had no need to 'improve' the razors. Just keep making the Sensor. But thats not how capitalism works. So i tried a straight razor for a while, but found it very difficult to use. Maybe i needed a better razor than a starter kit, but....? Then i tried a safety razor and that felt like i was scraping the skin off my face - plus lots of nicks. Finally just googled Sensor2 and found you guys and this Sensor2 replacement. I've only used it once, but so far so good. I will say i don't feel like I got the closest shave ever, but that's about the least important part of shaving. It doesn't HAVE TO BE as smooth as glass. It's just going to grow out again in a few hours. So, to me, having a "new" Gillette Sensor2 resource is worth its weight in gold. Not sure this is quite as good as the actual original Gillette model, but close enough.
