Amazingly enough this razor has the positive click feature while turning to make the adjustments. Adjustments are 1-9 with 1/2 increments in between. Many have marveled at Fat Guy's shave quality which is indistinguishable from the Fat Boy's.

To Use:

Open the razor head by turning the bottom dial counter-clockwise.
Insert the blade
Turn the upper adjustment dial to your desired number (or half-increment dot setting)
Close the head by turning the bottom dial clockwise until head is closed firmly.

**Please note there are a few small differences between our replica and the original. The weight of Fat Guy is a bit lighter than the original, because it is made of stronger and lighter materials. This is a modern twist-to-open, adjustable safety razor, engineered as a chrome-plated replica of the 1960 Gillette Fatboy. It is constructed primarily from brass and a magnesium alloy, weighing approximately 65-70 grams, which is slightly lighter than the 78-79 gram original.

Fat Guy comes with a 2-year warranty covering normal use. Abuse from over tightening, dropping, etc. is not covered.

Good but has some issues

I ended up buying the Fat Guy due to adjustability. I’m giving it a 4 star only for the fact that the one I received has little to no click feedback when going from 1-5. 6-9 seems fine. I shaved once with it starting at 9 and it cleared everything with ease. 2nd pass on 5 and third on 1. The shave felt great.

Best tto i have used

Fantastic replica razor of the original gillette fatboy. This razor is the best tto razor i have used it gave a fantastic shave. i used setting 9 for the first pass then 5 for the second pass and for the final pass setting 1. it gave me a bbs shave without nicks and irritation i highly recommend this fatboy replica.

Follow-up to my review of the Fat Guy razor

I need to add two things to my 5-star review of the Fat Guy razor:

1: There's a typo in the second sentence of the second paragraph in my review. I wrote "I happen to own a 1960 Gillette Fatboy with a date code is F 2." It should read "with a date code of F 2."

2: I want to say that Shave Nation's service is superb! I ordered the Fat Guy razor late on a Friday afternoon, and it was shipped the same day. I live on the East Coast of the USA, in New England, and the razor arrived on Tuesday. It might have even arrived sooner if it had not been for the weekend. Anyway, wonderful service from Shave Nation.
