This is my first razor. It is very easy to use and works really well. I wish the handle were a little thicker, but I like that it is longer.
Really happy with the Parker 22R! It’s solid, easy to use, and gives a super close shave without irritation. The butterfly design makes swapping blades simple, and the handle feels great in the hand. When I use it, it gives that true classic shave feeling — smooth, clean, and just satisfying every time. I currently have the Gillette 7 o’clock razor and it feels like the perfect match. Got this in today and popped in a Feather blade. After my first stroke with this razor I was already impressed beyond my expectations. I would certainly not place it in the mild category,but it's not hyper aggressive either. It's a starting lineup player Without a doubt! Blade choice will be felt with this one. Such a good razor and has the looks,feel and performance of a razor far more expensive. More aggressive than a 34c by far. I would put it near my around the aggressiveness of the edwin Jagger 3One Six.
I just shaved with it for the 1st time and it worked great. There were a couple of small nicks but the alum made them disappear instantly. I got bbs pretty much all over with 3, ok maybe 4 passes , which was quite satisfying. The only issue with bbs is now i need to wait a couple days to shave again. As usual, everything about Shave Nation was and continues to be top notch!
