This Beaufort is a tremendous entry level brush and represents great value in a hand crafted product.
The handle is hand-turned on a lathe, then smoothed and polished by hand.
The knot is very densely packed by hand in Pure badger.
The handle has a raised ringlet near the center which gives good grip and outstanding balance to this beautiful brush.
This is one of the nicest handles in the Simpsons lineup.

Great quality

This brush has a tight knot and is still soft on the whiskers. You get what you pay for.
