Parker Closed Comb Safety Razor 3-Piece 91R

I absolutely love this razor. I have several double edge razors, but this is the one I love using. It has a good grip, even blade exposure and feels good in your hand. It shaves closer than my other razors, but I seldom if ever get weepers and never have irritated skin. I wish I had bought this razor first, I wouldn't have a drawer full of razors I don't use. I had thought about getting the Parker Variant, but I don't see how it could possible be better than this one.

I just had the closest shave ever. It could be the safety razor, the Shark Super Stainless Blade used, or perhaps both. Had just one day beard growth, so this safety razor is perfect for daily or a couple days beard growth. I have insanely sensitive skin, so there was no razor burns or any irritation after the shave. In terms of aggressiveness, I would rank it slightly above the Merkur 34G. The Parker 91R is perfect for those with a coarse beard and sensitive skin. Please buy it!

A little more aggressive than the Merkur 42C, which was my first safety razor. A nice step up now that I’m not an absolute beginner. I still use both. The knurling on the parker is fantastic. Also the length. A pleasure to shave with. 

This razor provides a more aggressive shave than I expected but also a very smooth shave with a single pass. A second pass was all it took to finish some areas needing a pass with a different direction.

For my average hands, the handle is a good length. The patterns on the handle provides good grip. The razor has a nice weight in your hand. Changing out the blades is quick and simple.
