I purchased a SOLID GOLD Feather razor, it should be at that price.
I have only used it three times so I can't give an accurate review.
I have two perfectly good razors in my Merkur and MR Syntesi, but you know how it is, looking for the one that will pour coffee and make breakfast while shaving you.
The feather seems like a nice razor, but it will have to prove it over the Syntesi, this is a great razor it will shave a little closer with the same blade than the feather will, again I only used the feather three times, but save your money and get the Syntesi and use what you have left over and purchase other goodies from Shave Nation.
I know this is supposed to be a review on the Feather razor, but I need to add that Geofatman has the best list of products than any shave supply in the US. Believe me at eighty years old I have bought from just about everyone. I will always as long as I'm capable will buy from Shave Nation from now on.

Worth the money?

Yes. It's worth the money, in my opinion, if you want a stainless steel razor that is beautifully designed and built, and which provides a MILD shave but an efficient shave if you use it correctly. It took me a while to get an efficient shave. Geo's videos on the razor helped lots. If I "ride the cap" I get the perfect angle. I can use this razor daily without risking irritation or nicks. I don't use Feather blades in it. IMHO Feather blades are great--for other faces. I use Kai blades and Nacets and anything else and they all work just fine. If you love aggressive razors this might not be for you. But if you want a great, anxiety free, bloodless and comfortable shave, this is superb.

Boy is this well engineered. It was my every shave day razor until the Dovo Primo which I find more nimble and smoother shaving.
