It doesn't get any better for me. Utterly terrific.

Considering myself as an "old school" man, I would rank "American Blend" as my favorite daily after shave and arguably the best frequent use after shave in the market today. It represents for me everything an after shave should be. I would then place as a close 2nd Mr. Fine's "Latigo", 3rd the "Platinum", 4th the "Clubhouse" and 5th the "Bay Rum". I would also recommend Taylor of Old Bond Street's "A Gentleman's Aftershave Lotion" as a notable mention. Congrats, Mr Fine!

Give this a read before buying

I know I'm in the minority here, and I believe it's because I have a very particular scent palette.

I LOVED the way it felt on my skin - light, like it wasn't even there. I LOVED the duration of the scent - several hours. I LOVED that it had only four ingredients.

My nose did not like the way it smelled; my first reaction was that it smelled like burnt rubber. My wife, when I asked her to give it a sniff, was like, "meh."

Again, I'm a guy with a very narrow lane of smells I like and this just didn't fit that lane. Not putting this out as a negative review, but as a data point for others who might have the same smell sensibilities.
