Machined from solid brass, triple-plated and hand-polished, this 3 Piece razor has an elegant and unique lined metallic design. Not only is this feature beautiful in the way it catches the light, it also offers enhanced grip, which is particularly useful when shaving with damp or soapy hands. The handle is finished with an attractive scratch-resistant chrome plating with 'EDWIN JAGGER' and 'SHEFFIELD, ENGLAND' proudly engraved on the collar and cap respectively.

The two-part die-cast razor head has been expertly engineered to deliver a shave that is gentle on the skin but still very close and smooth. The classic Edwin Jagger closed comb head is chrome-plated and hand-polished before delivery. Famous among the wet-shaving community, this razor boasts an excellent reputation for the expert level of shaving it achieves.

One of my top razors. I like the lined handle the best of all the Edwin Jagger handles! PS: loved how quickly I got it!

Good Razor Problem with Threads

The razor is good, but the threads on the handle seem too loose. Lots of play and wobble as you screw on the handle to the head. Never had one this loose..

This is my second Safety Razor purchase from Shave Nation in two weeks, because of the fair prices and exemplary customer service.

I’ve been watching Geo Fatboy’s very informative shaving videos, and I’ve learn a great deal from him, so I thought it would be just to make some purchases from him. And because of the second to none customer service & support… I’m now a loyal customer for life. I’d much rather purchase from a small business who values their customers, rather then by from the monolithic online stores any day of the week.

This Edwin Jagger DE89 is a beautiful well built razor that gives a mild yet efficient shave. Combined with a Feather Blade, it can easily shave 3 or 4 days of growth of my very course beard, while being super smooth and mild enough to shave daily, as I most often do.
