Home run!

After over a year of comparing a variety of blades in my Mercur 34C, the Gillette 7 O’Clock Super Platinum blades claimed the top spot for the overall winner when I totalled up scores across the sharpness, smoothness, consistency, comfort and durability metrics. I’ve got that combination of heavy, thick beard and sensitive skin. Favorite Razor for Merkur Progress

I have stiff and wirey stubble and need a very sharp blade. Feathers are my go-to. However, in the Merkur these 7 o’clocks are the best: Smooth shaving from the first use and they slowly lose their edge. Feathers seem to go from great to harsh all of a sudden. Shave Nation are awesome. Quick shipping. I could by these blades at the massive online retailers, but I’m going to support guys like Geo: Same product, better service, and good people after my own heart.
