Rockwell T2

The Rockwell T2 is very high quality. The shave is very smooth without no nicks or cuts . Shaved on two passes . First on 3 than on one. The purchase is well worth it . Thanks Shave Nation !!!

You can't go wrong with a Rockwell T2 Razor

I found the Rockwell T2 Razors totally by accident. Immediately looked them up on Shave Nation and yippee, they were there. Though they seemed a little pricy I decided to give them a try. I ordered the Gun Metal chrome along with a couple of RockWell products. As always I received the order quickly. After showering I used my Proraso Pre shave and lathered with my TOBS Shaving Shop shaving cream. I started shaving on setting 6. Woof! That was a really close shave. First time using a safety razor in 3+ years.. Then I used setting 3.8 for the second pass and 1 for the 3rd pass. With this razor I really don't need 3 passes so now I start with a 2 - 3 day growth with setting of 3.8 and performed 2nd Pass with a setting of 1-2. I'm still experimenting. I've since bought the Rockwell T2 White SS (not currently on Shave Nations website). A little higher in cost but cheaper in the package deal from RockWell. I purchased from them directly because Shave Nation did not have the package deals. Sorry GeofatBoy. First time I jumped ship. It won't happen again.

Excellent results.

Ive had this razor for about five months. It's been my go to razor mainly because of the fact that it works with any blade I've used it with! They all performed more or less similar which means I get very good and smooth shaves with it.

One thing that stands out is how good the balance is. The head and handle are neutral feeling in the hand. The handle grip is textured such that the grip is secure without the knurling being too deep. The adjustment knob is butter smooth, but does need a few shaves to free up some. The TTO mechanism feels smooth but has resistance to it the whole way. I guess this is the way Rockwell thought to prevent the blade from coming loose during use. There's no quarter turn lock like on my Gillette Super Adjustable. Also if you have a Gillette Super 109 or Super Adjustable you'll feel right at home using the Rockwell T2. They both shave very similarly. You'll get excellent results with either razor. But the Rockwell is more comfortable to hold and feels more solid in the hand. The old Gillettes are nice, but technology has improved allot since the days of the Super Adjustable.

I definitely recommend the Rockwell T2. It's easily my favorite razor. I prefer it over my older Gillettes.
