My First DE Razor

I have rediscovered what my Grandfathers and my father already knew. A DE is a great way to shave. I just picked up a 20B from Geo and I have had some great shaves with it. The only time I've had a better shave was at a barber shop with a straight razor. With care, the 20B should last me a lifetime!

Merkur 20C Chrome & Black Structured Long Handle Safety Razor

Had a few shaves with this razor. Find the long handle provides a nice feel and balance which make the shave feel more controlled, specially as I have not been long on DE shaving. The textured handle is sure if your hands are wet; it will not slip.
A quite light weight razor with bias toward the head but can still be held easily well down the handle.
I get confident shaves with this razor and think it would be excellent at entry level for anyone new to DE shaving. Good product. 05/29/2012
