Socially Acceptable shave at best

It shaved ok although I did have to struggle to get it to shave, these blades don't really offer anything for me that would want me to get them, the closest to a standout feature these blades have is how cheap they are, but honestly I just don't feel like that's enough for me to buy these blades again but I'm glad I tried them out

For one platinum ST300

Dorco St300 Platinum blade came with my safety razor last Christmas. I don't think I have a stiff beard but I like a close shave. I tried the three pass shave. Close but no cigar, still left a fine sfuble across all the face,not just trouble spots. I landed up opening the gap , dry shaving. Just landed up with a iratated face. Still have a fine stumble against the grain. Tried tee tree oil on the blade, opened the gap, dry shaved. Still no joy. I still have five blades for ? Backup? To cheap to throw them out. Cut but not close enough for me.

I may be new to wet shave DE razors and the like but I got one shave per blade. even with a one day beard growth after the first shave it was pulling my hairs out instead of ripping. the three blades that I tried were all the same. 03/09/2012
