Pretty darn good for the price

I bought a five pack of Derby blades just to see how well a low-priced blade can perform. Very well, it turned out; surprisingly smooth from the first pass in my R89. On the downside, Derby blades don't seem to last quite as long as a premium, platinum coated blade such as a Feather, but adequately long enough. On a cost per shave basis, Derby blades deliver good value. I would be perfectly happy to use Derby blades if they were the only blade available, so long as I could have a new blade every third shave or so. And at 16 cents a blade (if bought 100 at a time), that's good value.

Great Blades at a Very Reasonable Price

I've used quite a number of brands of DE blades over the past dozen or so years. Derby blades work very well for my beard type, close to or better than the top end expensive brands. And the price is hard to beat for the quality of the shave. Derby blades are are my favorites!

first time using this blade, 2 passes gave me the same results as 3 passes with my usual Laser Ultra blade,but I ended up getting weepers on my chin and neck.next shave with a 2 day growth,same blade,different razor [ Wilkinson Classic,] 3 passes,some irritation,no weepers,going back to my Laser Ultra's
